The ongoing attempt by the Nigerian Senate to stifle the Freedom of
speech in Nigeria is a serious threat to our Democracy. Freedom of
Speech and that of Association are the foundation of a strong democratic
institution. Our democracy is young and needs nurture from all
Nigerians. Every Nigerian must be part of these efforts. This serious
threat by the Nigerian senate to stifle this freedom is an ominous sign
that does not bode well for our national development. We call on Nigerians to join
our campaign to recall Senators Saraki and Ibn Na'Allah from the
Nigerian red chamber.
